Engineering has been the pioneering discipline for centuries, it underpins everything that has been achieved in the world. The course is designed to develop an understanding of the mathematics and scientific principles of engineering. The course at the Sixth Form Campus is a theoretical course with a small amount of practical work with electronic design and is primarily assessed through exams. More practical courses are available at our North Harbour Campus.
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English Language and a grade 6 or above in GCSE Maths. You must also enrol on A Level Pure Mathematics.
You will have a 9.55am start, one lesson in the morning, one in the afternoon and a guaranteed 4pm finish. You will also have at least one morning and one afternoon per week free for private study.
